Dow dividend theory

Investment strategy that advocates buying the ten DJIA stocks with the highest Yield. Some investors believe that these stocks are currently undervalued and are worth buying. Typically, investors following this strategy re-adjust portfolios at the beginning of each Calendar year, as the fluctuating stock prices change the Yield. also called dogs of the Dow.
